Crystal Apple Finalists

The top teachers in Finney County were named at the 2009 Crystal Apple Banquet on November 18th, 2009. The purpose of the CARE Program is to recognize and reward outstanding teachers in USD 457, Holcomb USD 363, and the Catholic Diocese schools in Finney County. The six finalists went through an extensive process including three independent selection committees made up of representatives from the education and business sector who reviewed the applications, conducted interviews, and made on-site visitations and selected the recipients.

The Three 2009 Crystal Apple Teachers are:

Julie Nemechek - Holcomb Middle School; Roger Syng - Charles O. Stones Intermediate Center; and Jamie Terry - Victor Ornelas Elementary School.
