Report ranks Kansas No. 8 for gazelle jobs
Kansas named "top mover" in tech-related categories
The renowned Kaufman Foundation, in partnership with the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, has named Kansas the nation's eighth-best state for gazelle jobs and a "top mover" in various categories related to the state's technology sector.
Kansas was also named a Top 10 state for its ability to import "knowledge workers," those workers with specialized, high-level skill sets.
The rankings are included in the foundations' 2008 State New Economy Index, an 82-page report on economic transformation in the 50 states. View the complete report.
