Western Kansas Planning Washington D.C. Trip

The Garden City Area Chamber will represent the area business community in meetings with U.S. Senators Brownback and Roberts and Congressman Moran's staff. The Garden City Area Chamber, this year, will be the host planner for the annual western Kansas trek to Washington D.C. in the spring. Each year, 30 to 40 representatives from five communities in western Kansas converge upon the nation's Capitol taking issues directly to our elected congressional delegation.

Representatives from the cities, counties and the Chambers of Hays, Great Bend, Dodge City, Liberal and Garden City are making plans to attend the trip scheduled for Monday, March 22, 2010. One of the five Chambers is always the host planner of the trip and the rotating host and organizer for the 2010 trip is the Garden City Area Chamber.
